Okonomiyaki

- 1 cup okonomiyaki flour, divided
- 1 cup water, divided
- 1/4 medium Napa cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup shredded hash browns
- 4 eggs
- 12 slices bacon
- okonomiyaki sauce
- aonori, to taste
- bonito flakes, to taste
- Preheat griddle.
- You'll need two mixing bowls: one for okonomiyaki with cabbage and one for those without.
- Into each bowl, place 1/2 cup okonomiyaki flour and 1/2 cup water and mix. Add 2 eggs to each bowl.
- In the first bowl, add the Napa cabbage. In the second bowl, add the hash browns. Mix both bowls well.
- Spray griddle with cooking spray.
- Put the flour mixture onto the griddle in four separate servings. Place 3 slices of bacon on top of each serving.
- After 3 minutes, flip the okonomiyaki and cook for an additional 3 or 4 minutes.
- Flip once more and cook for a few minutes.
- Take okonomiyaki off the griddle. Pour okonomiyaki sauce on top and sprinkle on aonori and bonito flakes to taste. Serve immediately.
