  1. Combine the miso, mirin, and brown sugar in a bowl. Stir to thoroughly combine. Pour the marinade over the fish and marinate in the fridge for up to 12 hours.
  2. Preheat the broiler.
  3. Remove the fish from the marinade and place on a baking sheet. Set the baking sheet 6" below the broiler and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until the fish is deeply carametized and flakes with gentle pressure.
