Crescent Cream Cheese Danishes

- 2 Cans of crescent rolls
- 8 oz. Cream cheese softened
- ½ C. Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- ¼ C. Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Butter melted
- ⅔ C. Powdered sugar
- 4 tsp. Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Open the crescent roll packages, and cut each one into 8 even sections.
- Place the sections of crescent roll dough flat on a large parchment lined baking sheet, and use your fingers or the back of a spoon to create a well in the center of each one.
- Brush the brown sugar mixture onto the top of each crescent roll section, and fill the center of each one with a serving of the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.
- Mix together the ingredients for the glaze until smooth, and brush on top of the danishes before serving.
