Chili

- 1 1/4 lb eye of round steak, cubed
- 14 oz diced tomatoes
- 14 oz tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp seasoning blend (like Sandwich Sprinkle or Nature's Seasons)
- 5 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder (or 1 large onion, diced)
- 6 oz milk (or your favorite lager)
- 2 lb packaged gnocchi
- 1 can chili beans
- sandwich bread
- honey peanut butter
- Combine all but the last two ingredients in an electric slow cooker, adding enough water to cover all ingredients. Set the slow cooker to low, and set the timer for 8 hours. (This can be reduced to 7 if time is short.)
- About 90 minutes before serving, add gnocchi and beans to the slow cooker.
