Cajun-Sauced Drumsticks

- cooking spray
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 8 oz. no salt added tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Louisiana hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- instant brown rice
- Lightly spray the slow cooker with the cooking spray. Put the chicken in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients except the rice. Pour over the chicken. Cook. covered, on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center. Be careful not to overcook.
- About 5 minutes before serving time, prepare the rice using the package directions. Serve the chicken and sauce over the rice.
