Bloomin' Ham & Cheese Bread

- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup milk
- Pinch of sugar
- 2 cups flour
- Pinch of salt
- 10 ounces creamy Brazilian cheese
- 1 3/4 cups mozzarella cheese
- 7 ounces ham, chopped
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 egg yolk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, add yeast, olive oil, water, milk and a pinch of sugar. Stir to combine. Add flour and salt. Mix to form dough. Cover bowl with a clean kitchen towel and set aside to let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the creamy Brazilian cheese, mozzarella, chopped ham and oregano. Set aside.
- Place the dough on a floured surface, and knead by hand. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, and cut out circles approximately 2 inches in diameter.
- Top each circle with a mixture of ham and cheese, then fold it in half and half again.
- Place them side by side in a circular baking dish, and brush with egg.
- Place in oven for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
